Oreos – Iced and Sprinkled
I did this for the pure spectacle of turning some Oreos into “party hors d’oeuvres,” treating them like cupcakes instead of cookies. These are doublestuff Oreos topped with vanilla icing, topped with edible gold sprinkles. I was assuming up front this was only a visual treat and not something you’d actually want to eat (i.e., way too sweet). Then I dared myself to take a bite. Unexpectedly, they taste pretty good. The chocolate cookie part counteracts the sugar overload. I only took one bite so I don’t know how much you can eat before you collapse into a sugar coma.

Pretzel Sticks Dipped in Chocolate

Kraft Cool Whip
When I was growing up, my mother put Cool Whip on pretty much EVERYTHING. I don’t think I’ve eaten Cool Whip in 20 years. But I remember sneaking spoonfuls of this light creamy sugary sweet delight. Because just dessert isn’t sweet enough, it needs a TOPPING. We put this on cake, ice cream, pudding, strawberries, Jello-O, pie (in other words, all desserts). And for some reason, it always made things even better.

The Real Reason You’re Here – The Donuts
I’ve noticed I get twice as many “likes” when there are donuts around. Which leads me to believe, the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, specifically with donuts.
